The Briars

The Briars are a Chattanooga based Americana duo featuring Jerris Schmidt and Robert Lovett. They share lead and harmony vocals, and each plays guitar and percussion. They write separately and collaboratively, and the results are sure to please anyone who appreciates modern, melodic songs with acoustic textures rooted in traditional American music. Their first full length album, "Feet", brings life and color to the different styles of their songs. Vocal harmonies are the bow that ties everything together.
